The bill (2059) regulates the issue of paying the underpaid pension sums to former military men, who, due to the fault of the Pension Fund bodies or state bodies issuing the respective briefing notes did not provide for proper recomputation of pension; herein, the term of limitation is not applied.

The Committee noted that under the existing legislation, if a pensioner acquired the right to pension increase, the difference in pension amount for the previous period shall be paid for no more that 12 months.

Thus, people’s deputies believe that it would be fair and logical to grant persons, dismissed from military service, a legal possibility to return their under-paid pension sums.
